Hello all,

As promised attached is a P96 file that I've put together for those who have the Radio Shack PRO-96 radio. It is a compilation of local MILAIR and limited CIVAIR freqs, as well as LE and FD in the area of the base, FRS/MRS, and common airshow freqs used by the various air demonstration pilots and teams.

I made this radio up from various sources found on the Internet, as well as, my own personal observations...

I plan to be on base Friday for the rehearsal, so hopefully, I can add more Friday night, probably late, since I will be busy early evening.

Planning to attend the airshow on Saturday if anyone wants to hook up. I'll bring the FRS radio with me. Anyone ever decide if there was a common channel and/or PL tone for us MILCOMMERs to reach each other at airshows?

Thanks,
John

Here is a PRO-95 version of the file, minus anything that might be digital. The MILAIR UHF freqs are programmed in :)

I sat in my truck on base all day today with 4 radios going and it was worth
it :)

This weekends show will be exciting. Here's some of what you can expect:

-US Army Golden Knights (Parachutist) - 123.475mhz Air to Ground
-Airboss - 127.15/341.50mhz - VHF Airboss has very low power, sometimes hard
to hear
-Civil Air Patrol - 143.90/PL107.2; 148.15/PL107.2
-Red Barons - 123.15mhz
-DM A-10's - 138.10mhz/341.50mhz - Air to Air
-Penny - 127.15mhz
-Kirby - 123.15mhz (aka discrete for show)
-Tim - 127.15mhz
-Heritage Flight (2x P51, 1x A10, 1x F16) - 123.15mhz; 122.475mhz (A-10)
-A-10/HOG Demo - 122.475mhz
-Thunderbirds - 235.25mhz - Pre-Engine Start and Solos; 143.85mhz - Diamond
Formation and group; 141.85mhz - Thunderbird 8
-ISR 2 and 6 were heard, with ISR 2 definitely in Digital mode, but not
audible
-Combat SAR - 138.10mhz and 127.15mhz - 2x Pavehawk Helos, 1x C-130, 4x A-10
-T-6 - 127.15mhz
-DMAFB - 118.85mhz/253.50mhz - Tower; 121.80mhz/275.80mhz - Ground;
327.70mhz - DM SOF

-FRS and GMRS radios are in use by vendors and military

-Base Trunking system very active with Airshow related comms - multiple
talkgroups

Additional aircraft continued to land throughout the day, including an F-117
from Holloman, an EA-6B from ?Whitby Island?, and 2x F-15E's from Mountain
Home. Many of the aircraft had already arrived prior to today's rehearsal.

Additional MILAIR freqs were active and caused some initial confusion, so be
careful when locking on to a freq. The 162nd FW (ANG) and the boys from
Luke were also active and could be heard on other freqs.

I'll be at the Airshow tomorrow, with my FRS in hand - scanning, of course.
If you'd like to meet up sometime during the day, give a call for "FLANO" a
couple of times, so I can figure out which channel you're on, as I'll have a
couple of other scanners with me - also working :)
