This is a strange one I think...

I have a busy CAP+ system (Long Beach Container Terminal Trunking System, Long Beach, California - Scanner Frequencies) loaded into its own favorites list. The only changeto the system from the Sentinel data is changing ID Scan to ID Search.

When I disable all other Favorite lists, so that only that CAP+ system is enabled, the scanner does not unmute on ANY traffic. In fact, it seems to park itself on the first frequency in the channel list and just sit there. This is not the rest channel.

But, if two or more Favorite Lists are enabled, the CAP+ system works properly.

What am I missing? Is there a reason I can't scan just the CAP+ system above in it's own scan list?

Thank you all!

Other users have noted that when you scan one single DMR system in the scanner, and all other systems are conventional analog, strange things happen with the SDS100.

Can you do a 30 sec logfile and post. It would be interesting to see what the scanner is doing.

a) Isolate your scan list to the bare minimum needed to demonstrate the issue.
b) Hold AVOID while powering on the scanner.
c) MENU --> SETTINGS --> SET Debug Log Mode --> SD Card (File)
d) Let the scanner scan long enough to catch the issue.
e) MENU --> SETTINGS --> SET Debug Log Mode --> Off

The resulting log is in the scanner's debug folder.
