It is my understanding that Novar/Emsdale/Kearney and Sprucedale Fire Departments have gone DMR and I was wondering if anybody has any information on them for programming?

Thanks. I really have a hard time navigating around TAFL(it not like it use to be). Use to search it by Licence Name, but can not seem to get to that page anymore.
Anyways the License for Novar, Emsdale and Kearney should be under the Township of Perry, and the License for Sprucedale should be under the Township of McMurrich/Monteith

Check the database under Parry Sound. Those departments should be on one of the DMR fire repeaters already listed.

Thanks for the reply. Yes its been awhile since we have spoke. I personally do not have one of the newer DMR capable scanners, but a buddy of mine does have the 996P2 with the upgrade for the DMR. I do the programming for him. I loaded the DMR in his radio for Burks Falls, Sundridge and South River and they work great. I just don't have the information to upload to his radio for Novar, Emsdale, Kearney and Sprucedale.

I'm afraid he's probably going to have to find them himself. I found the other 3 repeaters by doing a Limit Search while driving up Highway 11. I would suggest he do the same.

I would also keep the other 3 repeaters in ID Search mode. It's possible that they might be using the Burks Falls repeater with a different Group ID.

I did look up their licences on TAFL and found nothing changed since 2011. TAFL shows the following as frequencies:

152.420, 153.020, 153.725, 153.830, 154.100, 155.130, 155.655, 155.725, 165.630, 167.280 and 169.410.

152.420/155.655 is the repeater pair already in the database. I would suggest removing the pl tone to see if any DMR bursts are heard.

The other departments that switched over seemed to have just converted their old frequencies to DMR.

Might want to try 154.265 CC 4. Very strong signal south of South River.

I see it's licenced to Sundridge.

Caught a pager check tonight:

152.420 136.5 Perry Township Dispatch
152.420 CC 7 Group 7000 Perry Twp Ops

I didn't get the slot but I assume it was 1.

Another followup:

I've been told that Huntsville and Port Sydney Fire were converted to DMR last week.

Two separate repeaters, same frequencies but different colour codes.

Group 7601, Slot 2 Huntsville Station 3
