DMR internet reliability re:drop-outs

My own experience has been a home router getting hammered with UDP and needing a reboot.

Anybody using a hot spot? In my experience with DMR, if someone sounds like garbage, they’re using a hot spot. OTOH, it can be a problem with the internet linking repeaters. But it’s rarely a problem with a radio connecting to a repeater.

Tha vast majority of hotspot users sound fine. It is mainly the internet at large and the operator properly maintaining his equipment.
