Dmr listening

It seems frustrating and sad to me, that in order to listen to a one frequency dmr channel that only uses one slot for voice, that you have to go into the sentinel software, create a system, then a department then a channel to listen to it on.

Otherwise, if you JUST plug in the frequency and the correct color code, the radio seemingly picks up the time slot not using voice too, which hangs up the scan process.

Uniden, I'm sorry but as far as simplicity and just entering the frequency, color code, correct time slot and talkgroup, whistler has you beat on this one. You should not have to go through the trouble of creating a whole system, then department, then channel just to listen to one channel on a dmr frequency.
