DMR, Motobro n' ProVoice

I have had my 325p2 for several months now. I bought it w/o DMR, Motobro, or ProVoice. I love my scanner, already programmed it with 30+ systems. I bought it w/o DMR, Motobro, or ProVoice, because of initial cost. How can I purchase them separately, instead of w/ a scanner?

You can buy just the base unit and then add upgrades later via the Uniden website (or not).

I have upgraded the Firmware to the latest(1.07.09) from factory(1.06.00)

Now it looks like Uniden is including DMR/MotoBro, and ProVoice in a new scanner purchase. I hope I read that wrong.

No, they are "options".

Not everyone wants/needs DMR and even fewer need ProVoice.

The software is in there, but it's not activated unless you buy the proper keys. You need one for DMR/MotoTrbo, and another one for Pro Voice. If and when they release an update for NXDN, you'll need to purchase a key for that as well.

I have one x36HP with Pro Voice and DMR, one with DMR only, and one with neither. I have the same firmware in all three.

Yes, you did read that wrong. It's spelled MotoTRBO. haha.

No, Uniden is not including DMR/ProVoice for free on any scanners. They are paid upgrades. Even on the BCD436HP/536HP.

Get the upgrade keys directly from Uniden, not a 3rd party. It's cheaper.
