I've been running successfully on a Con+ system for days with that firmware.
Need more details to help.

What do you see in Console tab? You should see something like this when there are not active voice calls:
DMR, sys_id 0x008b freq: 939.387500, sig 1 rssi: -116 dBm $
Con+ NL 1, 3, 4, 7, 12
DMR, sys_id 0x008b freq: 939.387500, sig 1 rssi: -114 dBm $
DMR DATA_SYNC: tsbk_ps 34, sys_id 0x008b freq: 939.387500, sig 1 rssi: -114 dBm $
DMR, sys_id 0x008b freq: 939.387500, sig 1 rssi: -115 dBm $
DMR DATA_SYNC: tsbk_ps 35, sys_id 0x008b freq: 939.387500, sig 1 rssi: -114 dBm $

Status? (You should see DMR CC BLKS ##, and in my experience if your reception is not providing a consistent 25+ for the ##, you won't reliably track/decode voice calls.)

It does seem weird--and I am sure frustrating. Maybe @btt has other ideas, here is what I would do (no guarantee it works):

-Using the firmware that is working, back up the system from the DMR tab [Edited to add, @FreqNout note above makes me think maybe you should re-enter the frequencies manually rather than use the restore approach I suggest here. I don't think the TG Zones issue is the problem, but best not to tempt the fates.]
-Update the firmware from a folder with nothing but the new firmware in it
-Once the firmware update completes, close the software
-Unplug the USB (device); wait a few seconds; plug back in
-Start the software
-Restore the system from the file you previously created

If this does not work, you could also try the 10 second button hold on startup method when installing the new firmware.

On occasion in the past I have seen a strange situation where it appears the device is tuned to a CC frequency and should recognize it, but does not. From the images you posted this would seem to be similar since using the most recent firmware the RF Sig Level graphic seems to show a signal, but the green SIG indicator is not showing and if a signal is received it's not recognized as a CC.

Trying to get a simple DMR ham repeater frequencies to work on the in conventional mode on the P25RX-II. Version 02-10-10_45. So far no joy. I've seen comments about reverting back to previous software. Is there something I am overlooking? Hopefully the addition of NBFM and AM will rearrange the software to clean up and simplify the DMR operation AS WELL, both conventional and trunking.

Do manipulation of the first tab (the PX25 tab) and the second tab (the DMR tab) need to interact in some way to get either conventional and/or trunked DMR? Thanks in advance.

I don't think you are missing anything.
Conventional DMR and P25 have been hit or miss from firmware version to version. The most recent version has also been mostly miss for me on all conventional (DMR and P25) and even Con+ (and then only when the signal is VERY strong); even then it locks up after a while.

I'm currently back on a version from mid-December (am traveling, don't have exact version with me) that seems to work reasonably well.
I too am hopeful that when the next big update comes along it will fix some issues.
My dream is some day to get Cap+ supported, but I realize I'm probably in the minority listing to those systems.

Thanks for the comments. I think I'm going to get rid of the DMR tab in the next release. I'll add fields for trunked/conventional and DMR-LCN to the channel configuration per frequency. I think that will make the configuration more consistent. I probably didn't notice that conventional quit working after trying to add support for Cap+. I only monitor Con+ here. I'll make sure conventional works in the next release.
