I find when listening to DMR systems some radios are much louder than others. I don't see an AGC setting for DMR settings. Is AGC possible with DMR systems?

I haven't seen an AGC setting available for DMR systems I've set up... But I do use the volume offset on a department or TGID basis. Some systems are consistently louder than others.

IMO it shouldn't be a channel or system setting, it should be a global setting, like squelch.

Yesterday, I saw a question about AGC and stopped reading.

After reading it again...

The 436 and 536 have "volume offset" adjustments for this type of thing but it needs to be set per channel/talkgroup... I can't say anything about models.

996P2 has separate AGC, one for digital and one for analog. However this was in the scanner prior to the availability of the DMR update so I don't know if it only works with P25 or any digital mode.
