I would think that Uniden use the exact same DSP code for decoding in all scanners. When I compare SDS100 with 436/536 they struggle in the exact same way on different systems if they are Hytera or Motorola or some other brand when something like DSDplus have no issues. It's more of a hardware difference to the receiver how well they can receive the RF signal and how they handle interference issues.
I only have the 996p2 and 325P2 and I have 8 DMR trunk systems and 7 NXDN systems and it's remarkable how well they work , three are CAP systems,....schools, hospitals and businesses,.....

I agree with this. I haven't implemented the DMR upgrade in my SDS200 yet primarly because it works so well in my BCD996P2 I haven't found it necessary to do so.
There is a local amateur (HAM) repeater in my area on 70cn, 443.950 (output) / 448.950 (input) KD8EYF, General Use Repeater (Mt. Clemens) ***DMR-MARC MI5/CMEN Network Linked***. It sounds so good, like they're in my monitoring room along side of me!
I have now installed the DMR upgrade to my BCD996P2 and I find the audio to be clearer than my SDS200E.
Just trying to get my head around the programming side of it.
