Would it be possible to include full DMR info (color code, slot, group, unit ID, etc.) when using Search with Scan? It works great when running a quick or custom search alone, but we don't have full info when using Search with Scan. (And yes, I've made sure I'm using the default search names.)

Thanks,
Dave

actually I was just about to post a similar request. Would it be possible to include these data fields (color colde, slot, group, unit iD) as indicated and also flags such as CON, CAP and DMR etc in the discovery conventional mode as well. It may be too much to ask but since it is showing on scan it may or may not be impossible. Thanks for all the hard work

Posted, now. No change to Sentinel (if you are fast, you'll get a file w/o Sentinel in it, but I just realized that I need to add Sentinel to that file for those who might just be joining).

Like Crack for a Scanner Addict

I'd LOVE to buy a key, but Uniden tells me I can't because I'm in Canada, eh? Apparently they aren't able to process Canadian credit cards.

Hopefully Uniden will come out with an NXDN upgrade in six months or so, then we can do beta testing all over again. This has been fun!

if they are working on NXDN upgrade, I am hoping they give us dedicated Uniden Folks a break.. like you buy PV and DMR, you get NXDN free.. or even half off... this is getting pricey... Ive got all upgrades currently available to my 436HP (even the gps).. and its starting to get costly

I've got problems using a capital one card for both upgrades. Try using a different card... For PV I used a European Visa, for the DMR I used an ATB Mastercard.

OKAY. I would really love to see this change made to Sentinel/436HP programming

I would like to be able to program simplex channels with CTCSS tones in the same department (not favorites list/service list.. but DEPARTMENT list) as DMR one channel frequency. The business I am watching has BOTH dmr and conventional simplex.

Reason being:

I have favorites List "6" set up as businesses
I have Department List "2" set up as "Northlands"

so I want to be able to turn all of "Northlands" off (or on) by simply turning on/off the department quick key.

or is there a way to do this that I have not discovered yet?

I've always wondered about this, and this post reminded me of it, so I thought I'd ask it here and hope Paul will see it and respond.

What would happen to my 2 paid upgrades (PV and DMR) if my 436 ever kicked the bucket and could not be fixed? Would they be able to transfer those over to a new 436 or will I be out the money and have to purchase them again? Hope this never happens, but just curious.

I would like to see the time slot added to DMR conventional (maybe put it as a subsection to the color code menu). The system I am trying to monitor, its not practical to use DMR 1 frequency.

I am monitoring a Moto turbo IP site connect system. The system is a multi campus single or double repeater at each campus with each channel defined by frequency and timeslot and not by TG.

The problem is all channels except one wide area are programmed with the same TG regardless of use (see example). Using DMR one frequency, the only way to differentiate campus/channels is not practical. A separate system would need to be generated for each campus repeater. I feel it would be much more practical to be able to program each frequency twice as conventional, one as timeslot 1 and one as timeslot 2. This would solve the problem

campus 1
-repeater 1 460.000
---timeslot 1- "campus 1 admin" (tg102)
---timeslot 2-wide area emergency (tg103)
campus 2
-repeater 1 460.100
---timeslot 1-"campus 2 admin" (tg102)
---timeslot 2-wide area emergency (tg103)
campus 3
-repeater 1 460.200
---timeslot 1-"campus 3 admin" (tg 102)
---timeslot 2-wide area emergency (tg 103)
-repeater 2 460.300
---timeslot 1- "campus 3 admin 2" (tg102)
---timeslot 2-"campus 3 maintenance (tg102)

You can program it just like you have it typed in post 137 you have 8 channels.
Channel 1 460.0000 CCxx TG 102
Channel 2 460.0000 CCxx TG 103
Channel 3 460.1000 CCxx TG 102
Channel 4 460.1000 CCxx TG 103
Channel 5 460.2000 CCxx TG 102
Channel 6 460.2000 CCxx TG 103
Channel 7 460.3000 CCxx TG 102
Channel 8 460.3000 CCxx TG 103

Good job with DMR RC4.Same level squelch settings on BCD436HP and 536HP with good sensitivity to the DMR and analog.
Great compliment Uniden.
