Any of you guys have a certain DMR frequency that the TX-2 will not stop on while scanning? Nothing but digital freqs in my tx-2 so squelch is set at min. Reason I ask I have the freq of 155.6625 it is DMR but scanner will not stop or decode.. Before you ask I have tried NXDN and P-25 no go either.
Freq belongs to Woodbury PD,. They use 155.310 DMR and the scanner works fine on it.

Thanks for the help.

First, turn the squelch to 10 or 11. Having it on min will cause what you are experiencing.

I'd suspect it was a data channel or if it normally carries voice, then there's no voice traffic on it, just the channel in idle mode.

That's one thing I like about theses scanners, they don't lock on to a DMR data signal so that you're forever having to step over it or mark it as 'skip'. The scan will only stop if it detects voice information in the data stream.

Set the scanners headphone out to IF out. Connect a cable between headphone out and the computers line in (or mic in) and run dsd+ to see what are decoded. The IF out are a very clean and unfiltered signal that are perfect to use for external decoding.

It is probably as others have mentioned a constant datasignal without any voice traffic.

Many thanks for the help, 1 more question on the DMR Trunking repeaters there are 3 sites on that system anyway to stop the wildcard display flashing I see talk groups, does this scanner not store talk groups? Forgive me if this has been ask before.
Do I have to set the talk groups, if so what info do I need to enter, just talk group number?
Turns out 155.6625 is 155.655 did a tune and got a decode, Sounds like Roberta Sheriff Dept. THANKS for the help.

If your scanner is within reach when the talkgroup is active you press the menu button and you can edit and save the TG.

Or set record on the wildcard and look in playback what the TGs are and add in EZScan.
