I drive 35+ miles one way each day along I-89 and have the State Police, County, and city police along my normal route added and scan them. does anyone know what frequency DMV uses?

I've only heard them (21xx units) on the troop frequency that they are located in, with the exception of some use of car-car (State channel2) for on site check points, weigh stations.

I never hear anything on C2C so when I got a quad band radio a few months ago I never even put it in the new radio. Ill have to add it in again. Thanks.

As stated, DMV units are primarily on the Troop channels for their given AOR. In addition, at weigh stations, I’ve heard them on all conceivable variations of the license for (whatever callsign is) 460.500, to include 465.500 P25 in the clear (don’t recall the NAC offhand), 460.500 CSQ, 465.500 118.8, etc.

The VHF informal use has moved away from the 163/168 federal interops over the past year. Almost all of that traffic is on 155.4875 CSQ now.
