Ga DMVS Freq

http://www.scanatlanta.com/Georgia.htm

Ga DMVS uses 156.225 w/ PL tone 192.8 in metro Atlanta.
I used to hear the now discontinued Ga Public Service Comission Enforcement on 154.890. I don't know if that is still licensed and in use at all or not.

I attached a link to www.ScanAtlanta.com page with all State of Georgia frequencies. I hope this helps.

This info may also reside in this site's database too.

Take care..........

Best Regards,
Julian

In the Augusta area I hear them use 154.905/154.935. I've also heard them use the Columbia County S.O. channels when requesting license info (there's a weigh station on I-20 in the county) or when needing assistance from a Deputy.

DMVS Enforcement is now part of the Department of Public Safety. All DMVS officers operate on the same Freq's as GSP when making traffic stops etc. They go by badge numbers just like GSP except the put a "DMV" on the front of their call sign.

Also, the DMVS no longer exsists, it is replaced by the DDS (Department of Driver Services) DDS will not have a law enforcement branch, old DMVS Enforcement is now part of DPS, although the officers still are not troopers they will still do the same type of enforcement.

GSP and DMVS in Metro Atlanta uses the City of Atlanta TRS and has its own talk groups. (VERY ACTIVE)
