Looking at Plane Finder website, none of the planes listed in the article have been seen since 2014. Most likely replaced with the fleet you now see on AF-1 trips with tail numbers 09-0015 through 09-0017 which are seen regularly on ADS-B.

Thanks. I see now the photo was actually taken in 1990 and not 2020 as listed. So these are the SAM45 (45th President) flights you now see following AF1. In addition to the other VC-25 and the B757's mentioned I've also seen the B737's used.

Thanks, I see now the date on the photo must be wrong.

Related to this, 09-0016 has either just finished, or is near completion of upgrades.

As for the 2020 date, that may be when it was posted on Flickr, but the photo description (on the left under photog's name) say July 18, 1990.

@AirScan using this url will show you the last known position over the past 24 hours for the AF1/AF2 fleet, including the 09-001x planes.

Change ?icao to ?icaoFilter to see current track if inflight.

Usually one of the "Nightwatch" E-4B NAOC aircraft will also follow the President. They typically don't land, but they occasionally do touch-and-go's in the vicinity.
