Do I need base frequency info for Philly 800 system?

I recently made my first trip to Philly since programming my Pro 96 for the Philly system but when I got into town I was seeing talk groups pop up one after the other but no audio. I could hit manual and it would place me on a frequency with voice signal that I could hear but of course when they finished I was still in manual so it was not trunking. I had the same problem with Bucks but Bucks had worked previously.

AFter spending a little time looking over the Bucks information in a previous profile I saved I found that I had not entered the custom table information in my most recent re-programming. I programmed in the custom table information such as base frequency, offset and step size and visited the County to find the bank works again. This leads me to beleive that I need the custom table information for Philadelphia. I looked hi and low on this site but have not found any such details. Does anyone know the custom table info if there is any?

I was also missing a few frequncies which have already been added. That could also be the culprit but I have not made it back to town to test that theory.

Okay this is what you need to do. For philly you don't need the base/offset. Philly is an 800 MHz system which doesn't require this info for programming. Only UHF or VHF trunks like Bucks Co. require this info for programming.


For Philly, access your TG Banks by hitting PGM+TRUNK. Now hit FUNC+3 and make sure the setting is set to "Normal". If it isn't set to normal then scrool up or down using the arrow keys, until it is set to normal. Once that is done press enter, and you should be good to go.

For Bucks, do the same thing that you did for Philly, but make sure it's set to "Table" If it's not set to table, then again scroll up or down until the screen says table, then hit enter.

This should fix the problem right up. Good luck!
