do you have release revision r1404 of SDRsharp ?

That depends on what you are using as a radio. Support for SDRplay went south from 1361.

I am still on 1404. Is the general consensus still that this is the best (non-crippled) version?

if youre using funcube pro+ like i am, all the versions below 1404 work but 1404 seems to work the best for the funcube.
there is one plugin that is an absolute must with sdr sharp:
"Digital If Processor"
the ability to place one or multiple notches anywhere within the defined IF spectrum as attenuation or gain and the ability to adjust the width of the notches is an absolute must, way better than the built in zoom fft IF plugin filter.
i have not yet tried to see if this plugin works on the latest releases of sdr sharp at this point but it probably doesnt.

Multiple adjustable notching is available in HDSDR.

For me there are still issues even in ver 1361 ... the Frequency Manager falsely indicates that the frequencies are out of band and it will not accept tones to be stored with the frequencies. If I am wrong .. someone please let me know.

Besides .. scanning at about 3-4 frequencies a second is painful. Seeing as how I am only interested in VHF-UHF .. the SDR software really is very lacking compared to a scanner.

If I was at all capable of doing HF I would probably use different software. For me being a software developer .. I may get pissed enough to write my own.
