Does 246T keep handprogrammed/QuickSave Freqs?

Are hand or Quicksave frequencies retained when you program using the UASD Demoware. In other words, I have 50 channels using UASD in mine, and 5 hand programmed in, but as I understand it, any channels not in the UASD list are automatically overwritten with zero's the next time the prgram is used :?

You can read them from the scanner and save them to your PC. But, the demo version will not allow you to write to the scanner without first erasing.

Well, since the program does THAT, I may as well quit programming channel's in by hand, just write 'em down on a piece of paper & put them in with the computer when a user has access to one then.

I'm having to stay for I don't know how long with the Demoware because full, & Butel ($70+ (USA)) are, at the moment, tooooo pricey for limited budget.

Also found out 246T doesn't tell you the CTCSS freq. when scanning, only when searching.

No, not again! (sob)

It WILL show you the CTCSS freq when scanning as long as you program the CTCSS tone to "SEARCH" with these steps: (MENU - PROGRAM SYSTEM - (select system) - EDIT GROUP - (select group) - EDIT CHANNEL - (select channel) - SET CTCSS/DCS - SEARCH
