Other talk groups on Norfolk trunk freq.

Yes there are other talk groups on the Norfolk frequencies. Lifenet helicopters use 1905, the gas co. uses 0349,and there are others which show up from time to time that I don't know the owner of. Run your scanner in open mode on the Norfolk frequencies and you'll see them.

the RR database shows the norfolk system to be motorola so there is no LCN. You can put motorola frequencies in any order, and you only have to put the control channel and alternate control channels if you have a scanner that is CC capable.

LCN is not talkgroups.

Norfolk System

Norfolk TRS is not Motorola,it's EDACS -Regular run by RACOM in , Iowa. I been montoring them PD & LifeNet ever since my PRO-92 was released. I heard that Norfolk system is a SMR? that was about a year-ago.
