Good news on the software . . . does anyone know of a less expensive alternative for the cable? Icom is, apparently, REALLY proud of their cable.
I have used the RT Systems software with cable bundle. Works well and only $49.

For that price you can get software and cable as a bundle from RT Systems (whoops! I dupe'd...)
