does anyone know the right lenght for rubber duckie antenna for 118 to 136 mhz ?

i have a couple of those telescoping antennas and i want to know how long it should be for the the aircraft band so i can get the best respection on this band.

That is for a 1/4 wave rod not a rubber duck.

Rubber duck antennas are coiled so they don't have to be as physically as long as a 1/4 wave rod. The length depends on the diameter and amount of coils. Each manufacturer can be different.

eta: I just noticed in the OP he wants to use a telescoping antenna. Yes the 1/4 wave calculation would be correct
