Just wondering if the squelch control has any effect on how sensitive Close Call is? There's nothing mentioned about it in the manual.

I'm curious about this too. I've seen things (maybe in the manual?) that say that squelch should be full on when using Close Call, but I'm wondering if that'll attenuate it more than I'd like. But I'm also wondering if there's maybe a technical reason, like that there's too much of a "noise floor" with a lower squelch for the frequency counter to work. Anyone know why this is suggested?
I tested my 246t and I picked up a lot of noise with the squelch turned to the normal setting on mine. About half way. I had to turn it to 3/4 scale before it quit getting the noise. It was about 100 noisy to 1 good so it makes a big differance at my location. The same holds true for my pro83 but not quite as bad.
