• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

I search through the form but I couldn't find the answer. I just received the 396T today and I have it loaded up with all the frequencies. I noticed on the 396T that it doesn't display the frequency on the 3rd line like my 996T does in conventional mode (Mode2). I show the following:

Conventional Mode
L1: System/Group Name
L2: Freq Name (Police, Fire, etc)
L3: NFM C203.5

Trunk Mode
L1: System/Group Name
L2: Freq Name (Police, Fire, etc)
L3: 385.0625 41045

I did the F+5 option but all that does it display the frequency on L2.

Am I missing a step or is this an option on the 996T only.

Thanks
