TRX-1: Does the Whistler TRX-1 Display System And Site Info?

Does the Whistler TRX-1 Display Analog and Digital System and site info including DMR & NXDN so site and system info can be obtained, if not can this Feature be added? And can it get it directly from the control channel info ? This would be most helpful in submitting systems/ sites to the DB

The TRX series displays a lot of than info when tuned in to an active DMR or NXDN voice frequency. You can get the System ID, Site ID, Color Code, RAN, NXDN type (9600 or 4800), etc.

You are correct. I don't get System/Site ID with the TRX. Don't know what I was thinking...

All the information can be gotten, but not without being a pain. First you have to go to the Advanced Features and enable global and search recordings, and then load that into the scanner. Now all your searches and channels set to record, will be. Once you have some recording and want to review them, hook up the scanner to the computer and turn it off. Go to audio tab and click Get List Everything recorded along with the info you're looking for will be displayed there. (Hint) Use a card reader, so much faster.
