Also following Dallas TX Federal traffic on: 165.2875 NAC: 650 which used to be a DEA Repeater in Dallas. and 165.2375 PL: 100.0 which I'm betting is CBP.

I have this as BATFE Net 1 and that is a confirmed BATFE NAC.

That's a Roger. A1 in simplex, and A2 in Repeater mode.

This Wiki article shows that 650 is a BATFE NAC and specifies that 653 is BATFE Input NAC for interoperability.

DOJ & Dallas FED

SWEET - I'm logging USMS CH-3 164.6000 PL: 100.0 In the Clear with an Air Asset following a rolling surveillance operation in Dallas. Its either pure simplex or a repeater but only the the Airship is making the channel - hard to tell. Southbound on Jupiter Rd. @ Forest Lane. Exceptional Audio!

update: 3:43pm - This is defiantly the repeater (CH-3) as you can hear the Fed repeater squawk and quick squelch tail.

AWESOME! thanks for the Confirm! I was reminded today the NHL something or another is playing in Dallas (All Star Break?) so Our Federal op's in North Texas are in Full swing operation.

Hey MT..

I am hearing this active right now with surveillance ops. According to MT Fed Files: 2006-05-28 this is Net 5 of the CBP.

164.6000 R 100.0 / 166.4750 or 166.4875 is CBP
using 475 would be A-06 TAC Rptr
using 4875 would be NET-05 Rptr

In years past [Not Texas tho] any USMS use of that Freq was with
a PL other than 100.0 [136.5 or 123.0] 100.0 is a typical CBP Tone...

OK, I think I got this figured out now .... Were not scanning the Federal frequencies so much for the frequency, but more so for the tone or NAC? this is what really Identifies the agency? OK, that's pretty easy ....
