Did anyone one in the OKC metro watch the chase yesterday on the the local tv stations? They kept refering to a DOJ helicopter was in on the chase. It was an Astar 350 with no markings just white with blue strips, from the camera angle i couldnt snag the N number. Anyone have an idea what would a DOJ helicopter would be doing in or around OKC proper. Thanks

ps There is a link of the video at www.kfor.com

FYI, DEA did have a copter up about a week ago doing ops on UHF (418.975 156.7 PL). They were following somebody on the south side.

Customs has/had an Air Intridiction wing in OKC
Has.

In fact, there are several aircraft that they fly. A couple Citation's, some KingAir's and a tricked out 206. Swing by WPA sometime to get a look at them up close before they move into the new hangar being built on the east side of OKC.

Is that 206 all black? If so I think I saw it in operation the other day.

Nope. Well, not the one that I've seen hangared there.

She is white with red and blue striping and has a hugemongus non-factory observation window cut for the rear seat on the pilots side that nearly goes from roof to floor.

Come to think of it, I think that it might be an RG.

HTH's.
