Does any one know what freq. the DDO public security now uses?
Used to hear them on the public works freq. 410.7625 for years, no longer hear any activity.
I do not see them listed in SERAM, so wondering if any one knows what they now use?

DDO PSO uses a "MIKE" style phone system so they aren't available to be monitored with a scanner..for some reason they opted NOT to be part of the SERAM system.
DDO always has to be "different"

Really?, Interesting.
Do you know exactly what kind of system it is? I didn't know those "MIKE" / IDEN networks were still around.
I thought they may be on, or about to migrate to a NXDN system or the like, as I have often seen public works people walking around with Kenwood HT's, however they appear to still be used only on analog. You can some times hear them chime in on PW analog freq. but main operations seem to be strictly on what ever they are using now.

It would be a PTT type system most likely over cellular.

The PSO guys are apart from the PWorks. After the old VHF they went to the EDACS system then to the PTT "cell" current system they are totally independent now

In between they were on UHF 410.7635, which is the municipal-wide freq. (public works, parks, roadway, snow removal etc..)
Do you know exactly what PTT cellular system they are using ?
