Dorchester County Fire

Was visiting in May and was a little confused with frequencies and usage.

154.25 - Caromi Village VFD - Just heard all EMS Medics being Dispatched,no FD.This is also Licensed to

Berkeley County - FD/EMS South Dispatch,with same PL 127.3.

154.34 - Old Fort VFD, which was merged with Dorchester County Fire / Rescue in 2017, from reading on

their Website. Heard nothing.

154.205 - Ashley River FD. Did hear very little. From what I read, this is Countywide Dispatch?


154.175 - Ashley River FD, North Charleston Area. Also Licensed under Charleston County as their F2. I


heard nothing.

Most stuff is on the Palmetto 800 P25 now. So if you want to hear Dorchester, Charleston, Berkeley Counties Fire and EMS activity, you really should lock on the Palmetto 800.
