Dorchester is currently testing the new Motorola system this week throughout the county and surrounding areas. The control channel is 858.2625 and the TG used for testing is 11200. The system will have three towers Vienna, Trappe, and Bucktown (south of Cambridge). The new paging frequency 151.07 is being tested as well. Fire Departments will be receiving training this week on the new radios as well. I will be taking part in the training and I will report any updated news.
