Good catch, this was their busiest week in a long time I bet. Let's hope this is the end of polar vortices for awhile.

Last year I started hearing occasional P25 transmissions on some of the repeaters and simplex channels in the Wichita Falls area.

I suspect that all the new repeaters that were installed in the past 10 years or so were P25 capable since the new licenses have digital emissions designators, but they may have recently replaced the repeaters or mobile radios with digital ones.

I just reprogrammed my scanner with all of the local TXDOT frequencies. I left the ones that are still in analog operations alone and programmed the same frequencies with P25 NAC search. So when they switch over I will be ready to find them.

Thanks
Don
