It seems to me that counties in the same division using the same frequency would at least use different PL codes to keep from hearing each other. I'm in Division 9 and I can hear both Rowan and Davidson counties without any problem.

Each county's trucks call in to their base in their respective county. Rowan's crew calls Salisbury, Davidson's crew calls Lexington and so on.

I had looked at the database but I did not which DOT division to program in.
