Dothan's comm system has changed. System ID BEE00-46B, site 6.1 and NAC 460. This enables it to
connect with the AIRS (Alabama Interoperable Radio System). The PD dispatch is still clear, don't know
about the fire dept. The TG for this dispatch is 60316. Seems that the only thing that changed was the
system numbers to align with AIRS. Dale county is the only AIRS system close to Dothan that I know of.
Dothan PD has a web site that has calls listed and a map of those. Google Dothan PD and look at the
pull down menu's.

Is it the Houston county frequencies located on the AIRS system?

Imma try to listen to Dothan Fire that Drummer2015 advised

Or maybe he can reply as well @drummer2015 with the frequencies to use

The frequencies DID NOT change, just the system id, site ID, and NAC like I said. Just change these 3 things in your scanner if they are used, I use DSDPlus, not needed. No the Houston County Comm system is not connected to AIRS, system ID for AIRS is 46B or 00A I believe, and AIRS is P25, Houston County is NEXEDGE96.

I just discovered ne talkgroup numbers and edited those in my scanner. took less than 5 minutes.
Here is a list that DSDPlus found. I had Dale County comm and Dothan Comm running. If you can ID any of these let us
know. Quite a few clear and a few encrypted. We can update RR database after a few days with the new TGs maybe.

Before I start some reprogramming, I have a question. In this thread the talkgroups are showing to be in the 60000 series of ID’s. In the new database update yesterday they are showing to be in a 4 digit range. It appears the talkgroups from the original Dothan P25 system were moved to the AIRS system in the database. Which set of talkgroups is the correct one? I’ll be down there in a couple of weeks to work on it but I was curious about the difference.

The talkgroups updated yesterday are the old talkgroups The new ones are 5 digits starting with a 6. Houston County is not on the Dothan System. The have a new Nexedge System which they began using last year.

Dothan Pd TG 60316, Dothan Fd TG 60261. They are clear, rest of the Pd and Fd TG's are encrypted mostly I believe.
Other city of Dothan services are on this system, have not listened that much. This is the Houston county system:
Houston County Trunking System, Various, Alabama I received an email that RR had made the changes to Dothan, have
not had the time to look at it, I will change the TG's sometime next week I hope.
