Just curious if you have heard anything on this frequency. I am near Dothan and put it in scanner but don't hear anything so far. Wondering if I programed it wrong.

I probably got it wrong, can't find anything in my notes about it. I'll sit on it for
a while and see if I can find where they are. I'm gonna monitor 152.21 too, they were
using that freq for years.

I kinda remember what I deduced about Pilchers Amb Service. Seminole Communication System has
a license, WPZN234, which owns 2 blocks of frequencies. First is a block in the 152 area, the second is
in the 157 area. I have seen transmissions (Pilchers) on 152.21 and 152.72 today. So cDot237 put these
in your scanner as NEXEDGE96 RAN 10 conventional freqs and see what you get.

Looks as if Pilchers / Dothan Ambulance has 2 repeaters going. NEXEDGE96 RAN 10 conventional.
Hope this is right, I never worked repeaters or digital. PTT WFM then NFM and AM with some HF SB
was the thing in my day.
157.98 into 152.72 out
158.67 into 152.21 out
I assume that Seminole Communication Systems owns this system. They have 2 block licenses
that cover the frequencies. WPZN234 & WPZN232.

I wonder what these are used for! I have only heard them on AIRS & Houston Co NXDN for PSAP dispatch.

I know that they also operate a non-emergency ambulance/transport service, so this may be for that. Thanks for the post, I will add it to the scanner for tracking.

Yea that's what I figured out, transport. You happen to know the group and maybe radio numbers? I think they will be on
Dothans group 60261 and I haven't listened to Houston counties system to figure out that info. I'll check the RR DB and see if its
there.
