Can someone straighten this one out? Douglas county is listed under both DTRS and non digital, so witch ones right? Or are they doing the Englewood thing and transmitting on both?

151.115 is station dispatch but all ops are on DTRS, just like occurs on 154.070, 154.340, 460.525, 460.550 etc.

Englewood is also on DTRS as well, simucast on the old VHF freqs at times but not all the time.

No those are just simplex firegrounds, so if your in about 2 miles of the incident those are assigned for then it would be good to listen with a good 800Mhz gain antenna, otherwise not really worthwhile.

No there is no formal recognized Castle Pines EMS, Castle Pines Emergency Services provides medical and security responses to the home owners but they have there own dispatch center and are not a PSAP, so if they receive a call for assistance they forward it to Metcom or DCSO. But they also monitor DCSO and Metcom and often respond to calls in there area to assist and of course are co-located with Station 39 off Happy Canyon.

Although there is talk of incorporation within the next few years, so will be interesting to see.

Sort of along the same vein, I find it interesting that South Metro fire "changed names" to Metcom, started their own dispatch center yet at times share fire grounds with DCSO. Metcom FD dispatch may state go to Ops xx, only I find it's not their ops channel they went to but Douglas County's instead. ~grin~ At least they are interoperable!

Great, thanks. I will separate them into a different subcategory than "Douglas County" in the database.

Jeffery,

I haven't looked specifically, but those conventional freq.s I believe are listed for each town/city in their respective counties. Such as the 154.070 is Denver (FD I think) simulcast or/and tone out.

The one small thing I've noticed is that at times those conventional channels get the dispatch or traffic quicker than than what they put out on the state's TRS.
