Douglas County SO?

Been hearing nothing but silence on 156.165, and checked their license and don't see any frequency changes, so did Douglas county SO move to WARRS or Cobb DTRS or UASI or MotoTRBO or NXDN or what? anyone..Bueller...anyone?

Well, you're right, I'm not hearing anything either. Scanning Cobb system in search mode and not picking up anything new. I can't pick up WARRS, but I'd be surprised if that's what's going on. Interesting.

I've double checked all their licenses, and no emission designator changes for them either. They must have moved off to someone's DTRS. I cannot hear WARRS here. I know the city of Douglasville is now on the Cobb DTRS but until recently, the county SO was on 156.165 as they have since about 1990.

Maybe someone who is within the WARRS coverage area can check for new TG's.

Disregard my last post. I'm hearing DCSO traffic and an ASI on 156.1650 MHz now from my residence just south of Woodstock.

are they having radio problems or did they make changes? I get nothing on any of my portables (using a Kenwood TK-2180, Motorola XTS2500i and MT2000), as well as my base radio (Kenwood TM-V71A fed into a Diamond X30A dual band antenna about 12 feet off my rooftop) in Smyrna near South Cobb and King Springs.

Usually don't have an issue picking them up. My radios can hear all other VHF systems including Paulding, Cherokee, Bartwo and Clayton.

Don't know. I'm monitoring 156.1650 MHz in carrier squelch mode and I am hearing them fine.

don't know Mike, Cavitt is in a totally different part of the town and he reported the same thing I was. Maybe their repeater failed. I never did check state band or their MRD. Whatever it was they are back on their repeater tonight and sounding fine. Not sure what the deal was.

Well it works up here in Acworth....SO and Fire Trunk System is Clear too....good system goes far as cartersville....great RX on the 2180 also...
