Douglas County Submission

I received a submission to change the tone for the Douglas County Fire Dispatch frequency (151.115 MHz) from 127.3 to 146.2. Any feedback on this change?

I can't confirm whether or not the tone has changed, but the County tech was up at the old AT&T site on Rampart Range Rd one day last week. Perhaps it was just a conincidence.

I just checked 151.115 using both 127.3 and 146.2, and CRFD just had a medical. I heard traffic using 127.3, but it's all silent with 146.2.

U/D: I reviewed a similar topic about a year ago regarding this (http://forums.radioreference.com/co...s-county-fire-radio-problems.html#post1422804). I do live West of Founders so I got the 127.3, the submission might be from East of Founders.

They use two sites for dispatching. The different tones select different sites.
