I saw three frequencies on the database here listed for Dover Twp. EMS.
460.5875, 460.6375 & 460.5625 with a DPL 245. Does anyone know what they are used for. I have never heard any traffic on them. Any info would be appreciated, hopefully from the person who provided the information to the database. Thanks.

They are splinter channels for the squads to use for "talk around channel". Not all the squads have them. I know 33 and 39 do. They will not go into the mobile radios due to the 12.5 spacing. GM300's will not do it. They are in the portables redios only. So you would have to be pretty close to hear them talk. The dispatcher only has 460.625 as a repeater channel. Channel 2 is simplex. If there was a parade going on or something you might hear them talking back and forth on one of the splinter channels instead of the main channel.
