TRACTOR TRAILER MVC W/ FUEL SPILL, DOWNINGTOWN
March 18, 2010 On 1:18 AM Thursday morning, Minquas Fire Company was dispatched to the Brandywine Ave. Railroad Bridge for a report of a diesel fuel spill. Chief 46 arrived on scene to find a tractor trailer that struck the bridge and had ruptured a fuel tank, spilling approximately 30 to 40 gallons of diesel fuel onto the roadway. Crews worked to control hazards at the scene. Minquas units were released from the scene at 02:59 AM. Units: Engine 46-2, Air 46, Chief 46
