I thought I saw somewhere that we can import from the database into win 96. Is that true and if so how do you do it.

You have two EDACS systems Networked in Manatee CO, each must be imported into separate banks. Check the first group of freqs and selected or all TG's then import. Then uncheck the first group and check the second set of freqs then import to another bank. Works as designed.

You're correct about Sarasota. The admins are usually good at fixing problems, why don't you click on the submissions link in the data page and report the error as reported by Win96r?

The problem (at least, what's killing the XML parser at the moment) is the location information in the site data. location="27° 34.98N 82° 32.18W" isn't valid XML.

Okay, I temporarly fixed the problem. You should be able to import this now.

Don, you need to adjust the software, this will happen again and again as the ° symbol is going to appear over and and over.

Well Jeff, the Pro-96 can only handle 150 Talkgroups per bank (5 ID Banks of 50 each). You have to choose the ones you want. If you want to listen to all of them you will have to re-import to a new bank, and choose another 150. I would start by ignoring all the UNK and Blank ones, I am not sure why they are in there to begin with, it is against site policy to put unknown information in the DB.

Jeff, I ahve tried to see what was wrong with it, even changed the "Blank" talkgroups to UNK but even that doesn't seem to fix the problem. There are more problmes on this system. I am going to contact the admin who put the info in and let him fix it.
