I have Psr 500. I purchased the winn 500 soltware but I can not download to the scanner. I was trying to use Radio Shack cable 20-548. Is this the wrong cable or how do I go about getting the program running?
I have been getting Heap error on about every thing I try to do with scanner. I tried to find a listing( new )but could not locate any. The Winn program is suppose to locate any problem areas but I can not get program running. Can not find any instructions. Thanks for help. Brick

Make sure you do not use the 3 inch adapter cable that comes with the RS cable. It will not work with that adapter cable in the line.
