I have spent the last two hours looking and searching through this website, and I'll be danged if I can find the actual instructions for downloading the frequency information from this site to my software and then onto my scanner! It may be right under my nose, but I certainly can't see it. Can anyone help me out? I have a PRO-95 and the WIN95. The WIN95 and the scanner are communicating without a problem. But how do I get the resources from this site downloaded to the WIN95?? I'm sure it has to be here somewhere.

The way I programmed my 95 was this way. I went to the page with the freqs and talkgroups for VA Beach. Copied them to an excel page. Then I copied them to the channels I wanted in the WIN95 program. Seems like a long time, but once you do it; it is easy. You can open excel. Then on the Data tab, inport external data. New web query. Type in (or copy link) into address bar. Then click on the freqs and talk groups. Hit the inport button. Once you have this in the WIN95 program. Use the cable to upload it to scanner.

This can’t be done in Win95, as this feature is only written in latter programs like Win96 and Win97. You will have to do it the way Navycop said.

The Data Tab method would be Excel 2003 and later. Excel 97 requires using copy from web page then selecting *Paste Special>text* in target cell of open Excel file. In both cases, a little editing is required to end up with only the columns required for pasting to software. But either case surely beats typing all data or using scanner keyboard.
