DPD Antenna

Is any familiar with the DPD OmniX antenna? Comparsion to the Scantenna ST-2 and ST-4?
I need something better than what I have and am interestee one of the mentioned antennas. The OmniX is very desirable due to its "visual impact". The question would be in performance. I am not a hard core scanner, but do listen a lot during the day, while working 2 meter ham radio.
Appreciate any help -- and suggestions!

Appears to be a very good antenna, depending on what band your monitoring. As soon as I have some spare $$$ laying around I know I'm gonna get one.

I've used the Mil-Tenna (Aircraft/Military) version of this antenna design from DPD and am 100% satisfied with materials, construction, and performance.
