DENVER – A police chase through the streets of Downtown Denver ended Thursday night with two suspects and three officers injured.
Denver Police say it started at around 7:40 p.m. at Harry’s Bar near Colfax Avenue and Broadway during an undercover drug bust.
Police say two suspects stole a truck from the bar and the undercover officers started the pursuit.
One of the suspects got out and was apparently struck by the car at Colfax Avenue and Broadway, according to police.
The chase then headed deeper into Downtown Denver and police say during the pursuit, the suspect up to three police vehicles.
The suspect also hit a woman's car and clipped an RTD bus during the chase.
The woman was transported to the hospital, but her condition was not immediately released.
The RTD bus driver told 9NEWS there were no serious injuries on the bus.
The chase ended behind Coors Field, at 19th Street and Wynkoop Street, where two officers and the driver were injured.
Another officer was also injured during the chase.
Ppolice say it does not appear the injuries were serious, but the suspect was taken away in an ambulance.
The chase was very frightening for other drivers and pedestrians as it sped through the streets.
"Parts of his car were falling off when he passed me," said Brittney Brown, another driver. "I though he was going to hit me. I wasn't moving quick enough."
The names of the suspects and the names of the injured officers were not immediately released.
