DR2X repeater cross mode setup

In a recent podcast Yaesu's John Kruk mentioned the DR2X has the capability to operate as a cross mode repeater (FM and C4FM). I have been unable to find any documentation or Yaesu podcasts on this subject. Can anyone give me the settings or point me to a resource to achieve this? Thanks K0KWS

In the setup you can force the receiver to one mode and the transmitter to another mode. I don't have mine in front of me but I've done it before.

On the DR-1X, there's a screen that shows the input and out frequencies. On that screen, I believe you can set the mode of both input and output. The DR-2X may be similar.
