Over the past month or so I've been picking up activity via a wildcard object on my Unication on talkgroup 630 on Philly TRS Zone 1. It sounded like one of the college police departments but I wasn't able to identify who it was. Last night a priority call came across that talkgroup for an address on Spring Garden St and from that I was able to easily identify it as Drexel University Police. The dispatcher mentioned the incident went out over the 16th District and I do know that Drexel Police Dispatch has access to Philly's CAD. Base RID was showing as 11852 with other users in the 118xx range. It sounded like some or all users are patched from Drexel's DMR frequency as some of the officers were coming across with the base RID. I'd suspect Drexel may be in the process of migrating the police over to the Philly TRS but I can't confirm for sure. If anyone knows more please feel free to share. For now I'll make the database submission.

Any ideas for the timeframe and what the Temple and Penn frequencies will be?

UPenn PD and Temple PD talkgroups should be in the 63x - 699 TG range on the philly City Trunked system.

All School and Colleges and University related TG are in the 600 - 699 ID range.

We already know TG 630 is DUPD...

Wednesday night I had police dispatch come across TG 631. At first I thought this may have been Penn as I heard an address I thought was 3400 Chestnut and that a medic was enroute for a mental/emotional. Heard the medic on the PFD talkgroups get dispatched to 3200 Chestnut for that subject and then had TG 631 come back up and noticed the RID's were in the same range as the ones on TG 630 (Drexel Police). The only difference was the console was 11853 (on 630 it was 11852). I'll try to monitor when I can but can anyone else confirm as to which school is using TG 631? I will add it did sound like a bit of a patch.

Just heard a "theft of a catalytic converter" call on the 100 block of N. 32nd Street on TG-631 moments ago which would lead me to believe this may indeed be (another?) Drexel PD talkgroup. I think I caught another message simulcast from this talkgroup to the Drexel Security DMR frequency, 462.050 as well...

I'm going to guess they switched from 630 to 631 - makes sense as the city system mainly uses odd number talkgroups.
