I have a icom R8500 receiver. I wonder if it will work with that.

Yes it (the 10.7 MHZ model)should work fine.You will need a phono to BNC cable, however.Our 10.7MHZ output is via a phono jack on the rear of our R8500's.Contact Universal for confirmation on the device.I'm sure they could advise you better.

It Works

Well I bought the elad drm decoder and hooked it up to my icom r8500. It works fine the only thing I had to do was get a power supply (cube).
