Please feel free to move this question - I don't know which forum it belongs in

with more and more use of drones what freg's are they operate in - generally - for the joy stick controls to; live video feed if its in use what freq are allocated; saw a few over the summer did not see the fcc tag - which FCC regulation apply ??
that frequencies not FAA reg's

Good question you posed.

Drone frequencies can vary; it is common nowadays to use the 2.4 gHz band and 5.8 gHz bands. Some drones will use 2.4 gigs for video and 5.8 gigs for control, while other models use the just the opposite. Now even though they use the term 2.4 or 5.8 gHz bands, there are many channels within those bands. Some also use 900 mHz band, it all depends on the manufacturer.

As for FCC ID numbers - my drone and the flight controller have the FCC IDs on them.

As for drone frequency allocations, I don't think the FAA has jurisdiction over drone frequencies; it is the FCC's jurisdiction.

Is there a way to catch and watch that video live feed they use for fpv?
