I’ve noticed this week that radio traffic on the Lyons tower (Rice Co) on F-KHP-2 has been greatly reduced, even with a KHP trooper based in the county on duty. I would think that they should be affiliated with the tower in the county, they were in the past. At this point, I’m getting more traffic of F-KHP-2 on the Hutchison, and Partridge towers.
Other departments using the Lyons Tower (Rice Co) are unaffected.
Has anyone heard/noticed anything?
Could they be doing some tuning to limit tower affiliation in an area to the strongest one to avoid congestion?
