I don't know what's more troubling...the allegation or some of the early comments to the story on their site.

Wow those are some heck of comments on there. I don't care what race, background you are. I'm thankful for all those watch over my city where I live while I sleep and If I need any type of assistance I will know all public safety will be there very quickly. God Bless all of you.

That seems to be typical of the comments on the TV and newspaper sites in Denver. Their web editors don't seem to even try to keep things on-topic. Say what you will about moderators, but you don't have far to go to see what happens without someone watching out for the garbage.
As for the story, sad but unfortunately happens all too often.
