I think I know the answer, but just want to confirm. Can I feed the Control Channel with signal from SDRSharp or do I need to use FMP?

I know that the voice channel needs to be a dongle and FMP.

I'm monitoring a DMR repeater, so I don't think that Unitrunker will work. Before I had DSD+ I tried to use Unitrunker with two different dongles, but my computer crashed, so I gave up.

I can use my 436HP or 536HP for following the P25 trunk system near me, so DSD+ will be used for DMR which a lot of the private ambulance services in the area use.

That way, when Uniden releases the DMR firmware upgrade, I'll just have to plug the talk groups in!

I actually use a second dongle and let Unitrunker handle the CC and voice channel switching. From there, I pipe it to DSD+ over VBCable. Works great, and I never have to mess with SDR# or FMP. ~$40 spent for a second digital scanner ain't bad! ;)

From the readme:
DSDPlus said:
The control signal source can be any NFM receiver whose flat audio is piped to DSD+ via a mic or line in input, or an SDR device (DVB-T dongle, Airspy, etc.) whose demodulated audio is piped to DSD+ via Virtual Audio Cable or VB-Cable.

SDRSharp is ok for the CC side if your PC can handle SDR# + FMP + DSD+ + DSD+...
