I need some quick help.

Machine: Windows 11 Pro 64bit
Radio: SDR Play RSP 1A

The radio is receiving just fine. I am using SDR ++ to control it.
Now I want to use DSD FL to decode some local DMR data.

I have unzipped DSD FL and put it in it's own directory on C Drive. Reading the DSD Start Up Guide.
I find no batch file named 1R.bat. I am trying to create a batch file that calls for looking for the update
and getting started. I am knowledgeable enough to create a batch file. I can't get beyond this point of the set up.
Any help is welcomed!

Thanks,

Thanks,

Do you see any batch files? Do you have your Windows set up to show file extensions? If not, you need to do that. In File Explorer in Windows, click on View at the top and make sure "File Name Extensions" is checked.

Your DSD FL should have come with a lot of files. If it only came with 3 or 4 files then it did not come with all of the supporting text file documentation, DLLs, EXE files, etc. But i'm pretty sure if you recently ordered FL via Paypal and were sent the files, everything would be there.

At any rate, my recommendation would be:

1. Create c:\dsdplus (or a DSDplus folder on your desktop)
2. Download https://www.dsdplus.com/dsdplusuploads/FastLane/DSDPlusBaseFi1es.zip
- unarchive that into your empty DSDPlus folder

You should then see many directories such as :
BatchFiles
ConfigurationFiles
DataFiles
DLLs
Executables
and a Readme.txt file

Go into each of those folders and copy/drag the entirety of each of those folders into your main DSDplus folder.

Then, open your password-protected DSDPlus Fast lane that was sent to you, using Winzip, WinRAR, or 7-zip (windows native zip wont work). Extract those files into your main DSDPlus folder, overwriting anything that there is to overwrite.

At that point you will have all the needed files, in the proper location.

Mark,

Here is what the contents are of the DSDPlus FastLane that you would have been sent by the author. If you did not receive all of these files with your paid DSDPlus FastLane, you should email dsdplusfastlane@gmail.com and request that they re-send you the full zip.

All the files are where they should be and I can see them all.

Ok, I only went through that because you said you didn't have a 1R.bat.

Assuming you have the latest SDRPlay API stuff installed, then running the following two batch files should get you going.

fmpp-cc.bat
1R.bat

Your Windows Defender (or other AV software) might bark the first time you try and run one of the EXEs and you'll have to allow it through. Probably best to just exempt the whole DSDPlus directory from virus scanning.

Yes, I have the 3.15 API installed.
Looking at the DSDPlus1p101.zip file. There are no .bat files included.
None appeared when I extracted the file.

Fast Lane is paid for. If you are downloading everything from www.dsdplus.com, you are downloading some pretty ancient free version. It may not have everything. That's why you download the other file I mentioned in a post above and copy the contents from the subdirectories into the main.

Even with DSDPlusBaseFi1es.zip that I mentioned in a previous post, your SDRPlay device is not going to work as expected. That version of DSDplus was created before SDRPlays ever existed. You are going to suffer all sorts of problems trying to get the free version to monitor all the disparate systems around you. And the free version doesn't decode P25 control channels.

What you need is the DSDPlus Fastlane that you get by paypal'ing $10 or $25 to dsdplusfastlane@gmail.com.

You could conceivably use that FMPP.exe in DSDPlusBaseFi1es.zip and a virtual audio cable to feed to DSDPlus, but then you can't do any trunktracking either.

I sent the payment off a few nights ago. I haven't gotten a reply yet.

My suggestion is that you would email dsdplusfastlane@gmail.com from your PayPal email address and let them
know that you didn’t get it.

But you should absolutely also check your spam folder. A lot of big providers will flag those emails and dump them in spam/junk.

And, keep in mind that when you do get it, is going to be a password protected file and your password for that file will be in the email. You want to save that email forever, or at least that password.

Then you’ll have to use winzip or winrar or 7-zip to on our carpet because the zip facility in windows does not deal with password-protected zips

I click on FMP24.exe and I get an error message No Available RTL SDR Devices found.
I have sdrconnect sitting on a local P25 control channel. I have included a screenshot.
Do I need to edit the FMP24.cfg file?

FMP24 is for RTL dongles. If you are using an SDRPlay you would use FMPP.

If you have Fast Lane now, you should be just running FMPP-CC.BAT and 1R.BAT. If you are trying to use your SDRPlay with the free version (1.01) then you are not going to be able to just use batch files, and it's not going to work as expected.

And if you did find / receive your actual DSDPlus Fast Lane version, install it in a pristine (empty) directory. All the files necessary come in the distribution that is emailed to you, and nothing off of the website downloads should be needed and would likely interfere.

Thanks, Mike that explains some of this.
